In which there are nosebleeds galore, "surprise" chocolates, and chocolate lipstick.
In the first half of the episode, we meet Miiko, Sakaki's sister who is the owner of Hatch Potch, a cafe and bakery. As the group waits for the rain to stop and also to taste test some new cakes, it was hilarious watching Sakaki try his serving technique for the group only to have his living daylights punched out by Io, and then in return watch all the ladies swoon over Io's own charm and smile.
The second half involved Valentine's Day, which included Mayoi making "surprise" chocolates that contained frog's meat (surprise!) and Tsumiki making a chocolate mousse cake to give to Io. Even though Tsumiki tries to play it cool and give her cake to Io casually, she eventually loses it and gives Io a giant body blow that takes him down. But the highlight had to be Mayoi teasing both Tsumiki and Io by convincing Tsumiki to wear some chocolate lipstick to convince Io to "eat" it, thereby giving her a kiss. I was surprised to see Tsumiki actually go along with it, but I guess it shows you how much of a crush she has on Io.
I can't get over how cute Tsumiki is. Too adorable! I'd watch the show just for her! But I also love how everyone in the group can see how smitten she is with him (and they don't try to hide it either), but Io is completely oblivious. Goes to show you how clueless some guys can be!
