I love you, Kuroyukihime!
With the final battle between Taku, Haru, and Nomi, all bets are off. Nomi ambushes Taku and Haru with Black Vice, effectively taking Haru out of the battle for the time being. Taku manages to gain the upper hand momentarily, but Nomi soon regains it as he takes Chiyu hostage and uses her to almost beat Taku. However, Haru is able to break free of Black Vice's restraints by himself AND Black Lotus shows up to save the day! I have to say, Hime is pretty much the most awesome character there is. She obviously would be able to beat Dusk Taker fairly easy, especially since she knows things about Accel World that even he doesn't, but she still leaves him for Haru. Not that she's not doing her part; she's taking care of Black Vice, but by leaving Dusk Taker for Haru to handle, she's able to show her confidence that Haru can beat Dusk Taker.
I still can't figure out Chiyu's part in the world. Obviously, no good would have come from her being at the battle. Not only is there the possibility that she would heal Dust Taker, but then she's taken as hostage? Of course Dusk Taker would use Haru's and Taku's feelings to his advantage! I wasn't very shocked when that happened. Not to mention, she still hasn't offered a very good reason why she sided with Dusk Taker initially. Well, next week is the finale, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing Nomi lose all his points as well as the Brain Burst program.
